As most members are aware, mobile browsing has been greatly anticipated at MDC. As mobile browsing has become more common, many of us want to read and post on the go. We are excited to annouce that MDC is offering a trial-launch available through the application TapaTalk. TapaTalk is available for iPhone, Android, webOS, Windows Phone 7, BlackBerry (still in beta testing), and Nokia.
Â
MDC TapaTalk is a first step toward better mobile support and will allow those eager for mobile browsing to read and post more easily. TapaTalk charges $2.99 for their app. TapaTalk has some interesting features like image embedding, map embedding, and even Facebook sharing. MDC's integration with TapaTalk is still in initial testing, but if you are interested in giving it a try, we would love and appreciate your feedback!
Â
TapaTalk:Â So how do you get in there?
Â
- On your iPhone, Android, Nokia, Blackberry, etc., download the TapaTalk application.
- When you first load the app, you will see the ability to browse forums, view newly added sites, and search. Click to search.
- Enter Mothering and search.
- MDC should appear in the search results.
- Click to view the site.
- From there, you'll be able to login with your MDC username and password.
- Then you can navigate in, check your subscriptions, see who's online, post in the forums, and more
Â
If you're interested, please play around with it and post to this thread to let us know what you think. There will most likely be functionality issues, at least at first, so please understand that we're still testing and wanting member feedback. During the initial trial, Private Messaging and new posts are turned off.Â
Â
Thank you so much for your support and helpful feedback!Â

It's why I have an Android phone and not an iPhone. Apple is really bad about open source, wherea Google encourages it.
