The subscription/favorites issue is still being de-bugged so thanks for your patience!

JElaineB---it sounds like you will want to edit your MDC subscriptions if you have more than you're currently interested in viewing. Here's a written how-to and a more visual guide

Thanks for the reply. I don't want to unsubscribe to threads, as I do want to be notified if any of them are updated. What I want is for the subscriptions (Favorites) on Tapatalk to show up the same way as they do on the regular site if you click on Subscriptions - reverse chronological order and only the last so many (10-20?) showing up. It works this way on several other Tapatalk forums I use.  Hopefully this is something that is/can be worked on?

Oh, I'm sorry, I misunderstood. I'll definitely ask.

Does anyone know why when you click a thread it goes straight to the last post of the tread on the last page, instead of the first?

That isn't happening to me in the iPhone version here on my iPad. What version and device are you using?

You can change this by opening Settings from the main Tapatalk page and change the Thread Landing Behavior.

On Monday, we're having a software upgrade that should fix the ability to see sub/subforums (Due Date Clubs and Finding Your Tribe Tribal Areas).

It appears the servers has an issue with tapatalk or your session had expired. If this problem persists please access this forum from the account tab.

I have re logged on, have reset the account, everything. Am beginning to feel I threw away 3 bucks!

Any ideas?

I'm having the exact issue described here.  iPhone 4 with Latest Tapatalk

That's awesome, I hope it does.

There's been a ticket filed to fix the favorite/subscription problem, but right now, I don't know when it will be completed. I'm really sorry to not have an ETA. We're doing the best we can to get things up and running. Thanks so much for your patience!

Same here with the subscribed topics not loading.  Also, it repeatedly crashed last night while I was trying to access the boards.

Since we're still in testing, there are going to be periods of downtime. I know how aggravating it is when things crash. It's going to take a little time before the platform is ready for prime time. We appreciate everyone who is helping us test the mobile app and posting to know what problems you're having. It really makes a difference so thank you!

I've noticed one other thing that may or may not be related to the subscription issue. On other Tapatalk forums the software keeps track of threads that have new posts since your last login (blue icon for those with new posts, white for those without). On MDC all threads show up white every time I login, so it is not keeping track of new posts like other Tapatalk forums do. Makes it harder to read here, cause I can't keep track of what is new very easily.

ETA: I've also noticed I can't subscribe to threads on Tapatalk. The only options are Refresh, Reply and Facebook.

Thanks JElaineB! I've reported your findings to the software engineering team.

I've been browsing MDC on my iPhone using TapaTalk for a few days and I really like it! Two questions:

1: Will we be able to jump to the first unread post ever?

2: is there going to be any way to search the forums?

Thank you for making mobile browsing so much easier!

I'm also enjoying MDC access on my iphone. I got a few error messages in the first few days of the trial ("Forum Error" when it was closed and "Unknown Error"), but not recently. I will definitely use MDC more often with mobile access, thank you!

I was wondering if there is a way to see most recent activity on Tapatalk? I would love to see recent activity for all forums in one place, like on the website.

Editing my post to add this... I have noticed a few difficulties with formatting, particularly with distinguishing quoted text. Also, can the year be shown with the date? I know online I come across some old threads, it would be helpful to know the age of some threads.

It still crashes occasionally.  Also, when I started a thread, it didn't automatically subscribe me.

Thanks, everyone! I've submitted the questions and feedback to the engineering team. I don't know what future features they have planned, but I'll be sure to let you know when I know. Thanks for your patience!

I downloaded a Tapatalk update today that fixed this - the year now shows.

Yes - glad for that update. I wonder if they already had the change in development, if not, that was a very fast implementation! smile.gif
