A year later

Last January we got our foster daughter placed with us and then adopted in August last year. Well, this January we got another foster daughter. A sweet little 3 month old. The little girls are just 15 months apart. She is super sweet, easy going. Transition has been going well, she definitely misses her caregiver which we will visit next week. I am really surprised how DD is handling having a younger baby in the house, she was a little jealous, but now wants to love on the baby non-stop. The little one doesn't cry a lot but deifnitely has an evening fuss period, about 30 minutes where it is really hard to calm her.

It is going really well, though. Again, I was expecting a toddler/preschooler placement, but pleasantly surpised by a baby and I am happy about it.

I can't wait to meet her. She is gorgeous though and I'm glad that M is doing well with her.
