Need a "non-vax friendly" fam doc/pediatrician in lower Delaware

I just got harassed so badly today from a family doctor about my daughter not being vax'd that he said he was going to call the State of DE on me.  She also has been so healthy that she hasn't needed to even see a doc since she was 5 months old.  He was horrified.  Please reply with any family doctors or pediatricians in Delaware (especially lower DE) that are open to not vaccinating or at least don't harass you.

Im sorry to hear momma! Thats horrible! Can you try interviewing a few family doctors? I hear they're more accepting than ped's, thats what I have.....but my lady is in the annapolis area :( good luck!

Thank you :)  I did find an open minded female pediatrician up in Milford.  I am so relieved!!!

Yes, Dr. Teresa Keller.  Just saw her today and loved how they treated me.  It was a totally different experience than docs down here in Sussex County.

thank goodness, I was told to leave Appoquinimink Ped.  when I wanted to delay Varicella until school!  Not sure how I feel about our fp, they seem to really like abx ..

Can you give me some information about the family doctor you use in Annapolis? We have decided not to vaccinate and I am having the same problems as bluewatermama is having with finding a good pediatrician or family doctor. Thank you.

I'm looking for an open minded pediatrician also!  We are on the Eastern Shore of VA...but would drive to Milford if it was the right Dr.  She's supportive about not vaccinating?  My pediatrician has just told me that I need to put my BF baby on formula because she is not gaining enough weight...and is about to send us to have a VCUG done because she was just diagnosed with a UTI...it just seems very invasive...I'm looking for someone inclined a little more towards the natural side.  Thoughts?
