Sewing Equivalent of Ravelry?

I know about crafster.org, but I don't find it as easy to navigate or as pleasant on the eyes as Ravelry.  Are there other sites out there that I'm missing?  In particular I'm looking for fun baby and kid tutorials and patterns.

Thanks!

Not a forum but a blog - http://indietutes.blogspot.com/

I love her site.  When i win the lottery/come into a fortune i'm going to donate her a TON, her patterns are great and her ideas are so fun.

Have you looked at the blog on Sew Mama Sew?  At Christmas time they usually link up a bunch of great tutorials.  Also, Patternreview.com is good for seeing examples and reviews of patterns you would purchase.  It is very easy to run searches on patternreview.

Thank you all for the suggestions!  I need a break from cutting out baby clothes so I'm going to go check them out right now.

I have co-founded a site { SeamedUP.com } for quilters/sewers who are looking for a place to track their stash, patterns, books, notions, sewing machines and projects (currently stash, patterns, and projects are live). You can see how others used the fabric you own in their projects or how they interpreted the same patterns.  We are a young site but we have a ton of ideas!

If you do come by - be sure to add me as a friend! My username is WithinAQuarterInch - we would love to have you and we would also love to hear any suggestions you have for the future.

Thanks,

Allison.

My apologies if this is too forward. But I couldn't help but reply to the topic.
