Family Circle - Ritual for families open discussion - Everyone welcome!

Hello and Welcome!

In December we focused on Solstice/Yule and in January it was Imbolc/Brigid.  I am keeping the holiday discussion well before the celebration day, giving everyone time to share, learn and plan something for their families.  Starting in March we can focus on Spring Equinox.

FEBRUARY

So for February I thought it would be great to really delve into doing rituals with kids of any age!

The Family Circle threads are open to people of all spiritual beliefs and religions, who are interested in these topics:

- Ritual for yourself, your family and your children

- Seasonal celebrations, altars, activities, crafts, foods, songs and folklore

- Full or New Moon rituals, magic or observances

- Multi cultural Goddesses and Gods

- Divination of all types

- Magical workings, blessings, prayers

Discussion ideas:

Do you currently do rituals with your kids? What kinds?

What do they seem to like the most and least?

What is going really great and what isn’t? Need advice? Ask!

Does your partner get involved too?

Do you ever include friends or join in a public event?

If you don’t yet do rituals with your kids but want to – how can we help?

I've been so busy I have not had time to find this or more recent thread. Is there an active one for family rituals? 

We will be celebrating Equinox with a bore tide 'party' - Saturday's full moon at perigee is causing impressive tides Sun & Monday. Although I'm more ambivalent now with Japan's tsunami. The bore tide resembles a slow, small tsunami.  Maybe we'll add in specific a request for blessings to it.
