How much weight have you gained? - Page 3

13w1d and still 143 lbs!  So total gain so far of 4 lbs.  Though, I agree with Jill - I hate that appts are late in the day, sometimes when you haven't pooed yet, and have eaten a ton all day!  I weigh myself first thing, after pooping, before eating!  LOL!

Thank you all for your answers! I find them very encouraging, even though I know there's no garentee it will be the same for me. So far I am only up 4lbs from my pre preg. weight, and I am 15 weeks, not bad at all so far. I just was already heavier than I am used to being due to working a desk job for a year, and I didn't manage to loose the weight before getting preg.

I started out my last pregnancy overweight and gained 50 lbs. By my postpartum visit (which was later than usual at 13 weeks) I had lost 55 lbs. I got pregnant with this baby when she was 14 months old and I had lost 80 lbs since the day she was born. I did exercise occasionally, but it wasn't on a daily basis.

I have actually lost 1 lb. Not sure how, because I feel like I'm always eating. I started out at 145, and was 144 last Friday at my appt.

I forgot to add that I've gained 6 lbs so far. I had gained 9 lbs, but I lost 3 lbs when I had food poisoning last weekend.

I never ever look at my weight during pregnancy. lol

I'm 14w4d and I've gained about 9lbs so far.  In my first pg, I gained a total of 50 lbs (WAAAY too much), so I hope I won't go that far this time.  But I have a feeling I'm just one of those women who pack on the pounds during pregnancy.  I had healthy BP and no GD with DS, so I guess the weight gain wasn't that hard on my body.  The problem is that I hadn't quite lost it all yet when I got pg last spring.  That pg ended in miscarriage, but I managed to gain around 10 lbs during the 14 wks I was pg and only lost about 5-6 of those before getting pg again in November.  So, I started this pg almost 10lbs heavier than I was when I got pg with DS.  I hate the scale!  At least my OB generally doesn't scold me about weight gain unless I have a large gain in a very short period of time.  She pretty much kept her mouth shut about it when I was pg with DS.

No weight gain so far for me, at 11wks6days. I really don't want to gain a lot of weight...never did with my other 3 pregnancies (27 with first, 36 with 2nd and 24 with 3rd). I'm already 175 lbs, my biggest weight yet...so it's  more of a psychological thing to end up being over 200 lbs.

I'm 17 wks, 4 days and have gained just about 11 lbs (maybe 10.5).  How's everyone else doing?

I'm 18 weeks and as of last night I had gained 11 lbs.

18 weeks and at 15 lbs. boo.  I blame it on all the carb loading during the first trimester - it was bad and all I could do to survive.

16 weeks today and up 8 lbs.  It fluctuates depending on if I've pooped or not or what time of day it is.  LOL.

I'm 15 weeks 2 days and I started at 159 but then i lost 7lbs in the first tri. At my last appointment I gained 2 1/2lbs so I am at 154.5. So no real weight gain yet. I still don't have much of an appetite and I am honestly hoping it picks up soon!

Sheesh! I have not weighed myself between appointments, but at 14 weeks I was up 14 lbs! I workout 6 days a week and eat really well. I just gain weight during pregnancy. With DD1 I was very active and ate very well and gained 50, with DD2 I was lazy and had ice cream everyday and was a bit closer to 60lbs. I was always below my pre-pregnancy weight by 9 months though, so I am trying not to stress. I just really wish i did not gain that much weight each time. It is weird though, I don't feel or look that much bigger...

I'm the same way. Thankfully I know I will lose all of it in the first few months. Breastfeeding does a body good.

This was the exact same for me except switch pregnancies.  60ish with the first and 50 with the second, ate whatever I wanted the first time, really watched what I ate the second!  Doesn't seem to matter much.

I'm 17w, gained 3lbs this week, and it got me back up to my starting weight.

I am 15 weeks and have lost 18 lbs. I am a fluffy mama to begin with and am also type 2 diabetic. The dietician put me on a strict diet limiting my carbs and eating lots of protein. I started insulin at 9 weeks as well. I think the combination of those 2, plus I went back to work full time last month as a RN, is causing the weight loss. My doctor has me checking ketones in the morning and so far we are all clear so he isn't worried. I am at my heaviest so I wouldn't mind not gaining as long as baby is healthy & growing and so far so good.

This is baby #4. With #1 I gained 80 lbs, #2 about 50, and #3 I gained 40. I am definitely doing things differently this time with eating healthy and being active. I can't wait until it warms up so I can walk at the park!

13 lbs gained at 16 (or 17? still unclear) weeks. I am trying to not gain more than a pound a week, but like some of you ladies said earlier, it seems like I am gaining steadily no matter how much or how little I eat. I guess my body has a mind of its own this time around!
