I want to freeze my beans this year but don't want the added cost of freezer bags (or the waste for that matter). Can I freeze them in the canning jars I already have? If so do I just blanch like normal, dry and put in jar put lid on and stick in the freezer? I worry about freezer burn with the air in the jar.  Has anyone done this if so what were the results and did you do anything special? Thanks
