Raw feeders: Where do you buy your organ meat?

I have searched the stores around me and the only thing they carry are chicken livers.

Any good sources for organ meats?

Around here I can find chicken and beef livers as well as chicken gizzard in the grocery stores. Iv'e found kidney in butcher shops, and a whole variety of things in some of the larger Asian grocery stores. One local butcher has an "organ blend" just for dogs; i'm planning to try that soon. Green tripe is harder; I have to order that special from someone who specializes in dog food: most butchers won't touch the stuff! (Phew!)

I have best luck at asian grocery stores - they typically carry beef and pork liver/kidney and pork spleen.  I would try any ethnic type stores though, depending on what you have in your part of the country.  It might require a trip to a different part of town, or if you have a Chinatown I'll bet you could find some good stuff there.

I get buffalo kidney and liver and chicken liver from a natural meat supplier. They also have buffalo tongue and tails and chicken livers,feet, hearts and gizzards. I have another local supplier for tripe, turkey necks, hearts, gizzards, really pretty much anything you can think of. I pay top dollar though. I keep meaning to try a local ethnic market in the hope of bargains.  There are also several co-ops operating in the area. Have you joined the carnivore-feed supplier list? You might find some leads on there.
