Our 3.5 year old is driving us crazy with his grumpy moodiness.  Especially in the morning when i just want to eat a peaceful breakfast.  If every detail does not go his way he's upset.  If things are going his way he's upset.  He's always been sensitive and very passionate.  He has strong emotions.  He gets enough sleep as he goes to bed at 6PM every evening and gets up at between 7 and 8 AM.  He does not take naps.  He is usually great when we go out and do stuff, but we live rurally and don't do that except once or twice a week.

My DH thinks it's unusual that my son grumps that his bread was not cut right and notices little details.  I think that's generally typical of kids although he may be a bit more sensitive than most.

Any thoughts?
