DD is 10 months old, making slow progress towards putting herself to sleep and keeping herself there. She's gone from being a bounce-to-sleep baby to a bottle-to-sleep baby to a bottle-then-rock-to-sleep baby and now if she's good and tired I can snuggle her in bed and she'll fall asleep with me singing and patting her back. She still wakes quite a bit at night and needs me to help her back to sleep. I don't really mind any of this, and I really enjoy sleeping with her. What I DO mind is that DP has been sleeping in another room (on the floor for several months until we bought a couch...) for several months now because she sleept so much better alone with me (and there's no room for him in the bed). I think if her sleep improved just a bit more we might be able to bring DP back to the bedroom, so I'm thinking about trying some of the sleep books again. Months ago I looked at some of them, but DD was just too young for any of the advice to work. At this point, I think she'd be receptive to some of the methods out there, but there are so many, and I don't have a lot of time to read up. So, to make a long story short, I'm hoping some of you can help guide me by providing a short synopsis of books/techniques that have worked for you.Â

Thanks in advance!
