No-Cry Discipline Solution -- Anyone read it? What do you think?

I just started reading this, and was wondering what you GD mamas think of it, good, bad or indifferent....

I read it when my dd was younger and I liked some of it but not all of it.  I think that how useful it is really depends on your situation and your child.  It is a little more structured than I tend to be, but I think there are some kids that need that and my dd did have some situations where she needed me to be more structured and consistent in my response even though she doesn't need the kind of parenting style the author writes about.  I think there are ways to gentle up what she suggests or to implement when she suggests when you and your child have discussed an issue to its death and you really want to find a way to help your child start following a particular rule (such as not hitting).  I love parenting books but I tend to take a little bit of advice from each of them and leave behind stuff that doesn't work for me and my dd.

I was wondering about this book, too.
