I have an undisputed first name picked for a girl (Adeline) as it's my grandmother and she raised me.
For a boy I like Johnny because it's my brother's name, and he's my biggest supporter. It was also my godfather's name. He was killed by a drunk driver and he was my dad's best friend, so that's how my brother got his name. I also love Jack. it's short and sweet.
