Multi-vitamin for 2.5 year old?

Thread Starter

DD1 is 2.5 and eats fairly well.  We just got a vitamix, so I can add more veggies to smoothies and get some extra vitamins and nutrients in her that way.... We also do probiotics and CLO (I can't say every day, but we try to remember).  Does she need a multi and what would be the best kind to get her.

I am trying to get away from processed foods, but she still eats some mac and cheese (from boxes) and some store bought cookies and granolla bars.  Trying to get it out of the house and just buy more whole foods.

Thanks

We do the same things, CLO, etc.  I don't necessarily worry about DS having a multivitamin.  I do however try and sprinkle good quality brewers yeast on popcorn, in smoothies, at the end of making savory soups...  This just kind of helps add a bit of nutrition without having to have anything synthetic.  I also make sure he has at least 1 glass of raw milk every day.  Most of the vitamins he needs are in the raw milk.

My DS (21mo) has a whole food chewable, http://www.standardprocess.com/display/2805.spi

It is 3 a day for age 4+, so DS just has one a day (his ND agreed with this).

I also need to be better about getting him CLO.
