I have a 2yo DD and am expecting a boy this time in about a month. I have pretty much everything prepared - room, clothes, diapers, etc. I guess might be a stuid question but I was just thinking if there's anything specifically for a boy I need to get that I don't know about? Or is a baby is a baby is a baby?

Only thing I can suggest, and only because we've thought of it ourselves, is a boy's training urinal, since I imagine it is a lot easier, and lot less messier to aim into something that's tailored for their anatomy, rather than to aim into something that's more tailored for our anatomy. :)

My first was a boy and we didn't need anything special. (And as for training urinals... well, boys don't HAVE to stand to pee! Sitting saves a lot of mess.)
Â
My stepmom bought us the silliest thing - Peepee Teepees. They are meant to cover the penis so that they don't pee on you, but would fly off.Â
When he hit a big peeing while getting changed stage we started a little EC, and sat him on a baby bjorn little potty.
