During my pregnancy, I lurked on this board, but since I put my EDD at Dec 30 and my midwives put it at Jan 4, I didn't feel like I fit very well in either DDC & kept pretty quiet. Anyway, all you ladies were so helpful through my first pregnancy, I thought I'd finally pop on here & announce the result!
Elliott Casper was born in the water at a freestanding birth center on Dec 26 at 7:28am, 8 lbs, 22 in. We had a fabulous experience. Breastfeeding got off to an OK start, and he was obviously getting enough to eat, as he gained 2 lbs his first month.
