immersion blender and plastic, advice needed

Thread Starter

My christmas gift was an immersion blender from cuisinart. It has plastic where the blender blade attaches to the main metal shaft of the blender. Cuisinart says the model I got does have bpa and we returned it.  Does anyone know of a immersion blender that just doesn't have any plastic in the part that touches hot food?  Thank you!

My kitchenaid stick blender  is all steel where it touches the food- steel blade in a steel housing. Of course, the containers they give you to turn it into a mini food processor are plastic, but you don't have to use those.
