where do you buy used curriculum at?

I need to buy MUS alpha and beta for my girls, and don't know that I can hold off on at least alpha until spring.  I also have a couple other things I need to purchase for the kids to change materials (All About Spelling, and an undecided science program) and would like to keep my costs to a minimum since this fall I'll be buying for four different grades (we do some informal seatwork lessons in pre-k here when they ask, and dd4 has requested to do school like her sisters).  So, where are thebest places to buy used curriculum at?  I don't want to have to worry about not getting my materials or having our debit card number stolen when I purchase, and I'm not a big fan of eBay really (bad experience buying there once).  I plan to hit our homeschool group's used curriculum sale when it happens in May-ish, but I do need to buy some stuff before then.
