Would you feel comfortable using this seat?

A car seat that was dropped from about 5 ft with no visible damage aside from a few scratches and some dents in the styrofoam in the seat?

Dropped onto what surface?  What was the circumstance?  How big are the dents and how bad are the scratches?  How old is the seat and how much more life did you plan on getting out of it?  Can you afford something new?

The seat is about 2 years old and I was planning on using it until my 1 year old either outgrew it rearfacing or it expired. It's a trufit
Some of the dings in the foam are quarter sized. Some are a few cm long but thin ( width of 2 quarters)
On the plastic it is just surface scratches as far as I can tell. Fell onto hard smooth tile floor.

As long as there was no structural damage, I'd use it. Dings in foam don't count and neither do a few scratches IMO.
