Repeat poop fests... Help!

Today, my 20-month-old twin boys dug into their diapers and pulled out plenty of poop to play with... for the 4th or 5th time! They were in their beds (which is a big play yard with 2 toddler mattresses & blankets) every time, supposed to be going to sleep for nap time or bed time.  I can't keep doing this.  It's so difficult to clean them, the bedding, and the carpet every time.  I was crying and laughing at the same time today.  What would you do??

I would potty train them now (we already have 2 potty chairs), but they are so young.  They can still do it with pants on, but maybe overalls?  I just can't put them to sleep in overalls... that's awful.  Maybe big onesy PJs?  LOL That seems hilarious because they are so big... they wear 3T clothes & diapers.  What to do, what to do.

A few ideas. I had a friend w/ twins and she 1) always put bedtime dipes on backwards, 2) put a piece of duct tape across the waist  3) put them in full footied sleepers, on backwards, zipped up.   Good luck... really!!

I've put onesies on backwards and pinned the zipper footed pajamas closed. Good luck!

I had strippers and streakers, not poop fests, thank goodness, and I found putting onesies on backwards definately works, but I had two who worked together to get each other undressed. angry.gif So that was really no help. Why don't you want to potty train them? When I was teaching I had an 18 month old in my class who trained herself and had no accidents after one day. Her mother was just as amazed as we were! About the poop, is there some way you could get them involved in helping you clean up (putting the bedding in the laundry, etc)? Maybe that would help them not to do it anymore if they see it's a chore to clean it. At 20 months they should be able to understand that when you make a mess, you have to help clean it up. Good luck!!
