Military Wife in Germany

Hello,

I have lurked a little, but never actually registered here.

I am 30 years old, have 11 year old Mya (born Halloween of 99) and 15 month old Oliver (Born Halloween of 09)  Crazy that they were both born the same day...but they were :D

My husband is in the Army and we are currently living in Germany.   We moved here just a little over a year ago and he deployed right away. He just came home in December   We are moving again when this school year is over, but will be staying in Germany....just moving to Bavaria. :D

I breastfed Mya for 33 months...she never took a bottle... cloth diapered her a little, but didn't ever wear her.   :(

Oliver is still nursing, we cloth diaper and babywear.

We also have a rescue dog.   I know she is a mini schanuzer, but we think she has some yorkie in her.   She is deaf, but as sweet as can be and Oliver's current BFF.

We are also trying to decide when we want to TTC baby number three (who will be our last)   Military life can make baby planning a bit tricky, but with all of the moving we do, I would like Oliver to have a sibling close in age.   Plus, I am getting a little baby fever....

I LOVE your kiddos names!  Also, I have a serious thing about patterns so the fact that they were born the same day TEN years apart is super cool to me.  Right now, we have three members in our family, born march, june, and december.  I'm hoping our next kiddo is born in september to keep that pattern going.. every three months :D

I'm an army wife... we're stationed at campbell.  We want another SO badly but husband is hoping to get out after this deployment to go to school unless he can find a job he likes so figuring out when we can TTC will be hard.  RnR won't work so we'll see.  With luck, we can in December but I have a feeling it might be a couple years :(

I think I met you! We just PCS'd from "the rock". We talked about your daughter's name being Persian? Anyway, good luck with the deployment. And you'll love Bavaria!

Part of me thinks it would be better for us to wait a year or two....so...who knows.  :(

Hi there!

I'm also a military wife.  You should come join us in the Military Moms: Jan-Feb 2011 thread here. We have a 2 year old DD, and are struggling about the right time to grow our family...the military factor just throws in so many more wild cards.  Anyway, welcome to MDC!!!
