(When) did you feel clomid side effects?

This month, lucky me, I am taking the clomid challenge test. I am taking 100mg of clomid day 5-9, and getting my FSH rechecked at CD10.

I bought clomid off the internet, no prescription.  It was about $40 with shipping for 30 50mg pills.

I brought the package to my RE to see what he thought about me taking them - he said go for it, that they were likely OK.  And then he said you know they are working when you get hot flashes.

This is where I am freaked out - I am not getting hot flashes!  Now, I did cry at the sight of my nearly 4 year old sleeping this morning, but that is hardly a hot flash.

It has been 3 days of clomid so far.

I took 50mg/day a few months ago and had no side effect beside strangely sore boobs.

When did you have side effects of clomid - while you were taking it or after?  What effects did you feel?

For me it was near the end of the five days and continued past when I was finished the pills. I got hot flashes (some months more than others) and headaches.

I made it through the Clomid yesterday, and I am a wreck.  Emotionally.  I don't think I had hot flashes, but I am pretty convinced that it worked...  I started feeling it on the 3rd day.

I took clomid for one month and experienced no side effects.

I took about several (forgot how many) months of Clomid. Hot flashes didn't hit me hard, and as noticeable hot flashes, until month 2 or 3, but the emotional side effects were wicked every time.  Sounds like you have that in spades.

I had low estrogen migraines within a few days of beginning to take it that extended 5 days or so.  I had ovarian (I guess) discomfort leading upto and after ovulation.  Like, it was hard to have sex bc of the discomfort.

I took clomid last month and I'm on day 3 of clomid for this month. I actually don't feel any side effects thus far and with the exception of a little nausea last month, I didn't feel much of anything then either. Good luck, Jenger! I hope all goes well with the tests!!

My first two months on clomid, I felt almost no side effects - I think I had a headache or two and I was a little more emotional but nothing like I was expecting. This cycle it's kicking my butt - hot flashes, rage, headaches, you name it, starting the day I took my first pill and winding down about now (about 20 days after starting).

Never got hot flashes,,even didn't think it could happen,,,The only thing I got - terrible sensitivity and mood swing,,,but it lasted only while I was taking the pills,,,

My side effects were mainly for the days I was taking the clomid. Except hot flashes - I actually got this really bad at the beginning of the pregnancy. This time I conceived without clomid & no hot flashes.
