quick: should we go to playgroup? :)

we're s'posed to leave for playgroup in 15 minutes. however, dd has finally decided to grow teeth at 11 months old, and so was too miserable this morning to go down for her nap on time. so she's still asleep. i can wake her, she would have had about 45 minutes when she usually gets somewhere between one hour and two in the morning.... she rarely sleeps in the car so i doubt she'll make up for it then.

thoughts? :)

does she sleep in a carrier? i've gone in the same situation, because i don't get to see my playgroup friends that often, and i need to get out of the house. but dd does usually make up for her missed naps in a carrier pretty easily.

not anymore, she's too big--for her comfort and mine--and she's too distractable. her naps cut into *every* playgroup, it's awful!

I'd totally do it just to get out of the house and distract the baby from her teething woes. Have fun, mama!

I know it's too late now, but in similar situations we just go to playgroup late. Best of both worlds!
