I am not well endowed and was wondering if anyone just wears the cotton stretchy bra w/o underwire and pulls it up to nurse? something like this?

with ds i wore sports bras a lot, but i don't want to rely on that this time, as i have not been able to wear them at all this pregnancy because they constrict me too much.

I wear mostly just standard bras and pop myself out the top. I have a couple actual nursing bras, but I never bother to unclip them

I did it once or twice when I didn't get the nursing bras washed & dried and found it quite difficult. Hoiking one out sort of squished the boob and it was uncomfortable, whether I did it over the top or from underneath.

Once they are past 3 mo. old or so I switch to a regular bra.  I find it way easier to just lift up than deal with the snaps.  But in the summer I love nursing tanks (not necessarily the cami type, but the "outerwear" type).  FWIW I'm a B cup non-nursing and go up to a small C when nursing.

I always worried about the extra pressure in some areas limiting the milk flow. I don't know if there is any validity to that concern, but maybe?

How would the fit be any different in those linked bras than with a nursing bra? Maybe an underwire could possibly be an issue for some people, but not a soft, stretchy cotton bra. The only difference is boob access.

I wore bras like that and would pull one side up so my boob hung out below to nurse. They'd get stretched out faster, but I was buying inexpensive ones anyway because I knew they weren't going to fit for long. These were my favorite bras for when I was nursing, though. I'd pull the cup over to the side, and the stretch in the fabric was very forgiving. I'm a B cup normally, and was up to a D at my most milky.

depends on the fit and style of the bra.

Yep, that's what I did.  I bought cheap bras at Sears w/o underwires, kind of like this: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_018J1353000P?prdNo=49&blockNo=49&blockType=G49

I was a 34C pre-baby; 36DD pg/nursing; now 36D.  After 18 mos. of nursing the wireless bras were ready to be trashed, but I didn't feel bad about it b/c they were like $12.  I had massive oversupply and found that my nursing pads would get lost and fall out when I opened nursing bras; pulling the bra up kept the pad secure in the cup.  And it's fast and easy.

I started to just wear soft regular bras with the twins so I nursed three kids without nursing bras.  I had better things to worry about and just lived with whatever I had and they are cheaper of course.  I tended to be a C cup when nursing.

The one I wore most was a slightly sporty style that was not at all tight or flattening.  It is more like a "comfort bra" that is gentle enough to sleep in.  The bottom band is pretty stretchy--they have a clasp also but I can just pull them over my head.  I wore other kinds too and sometimes sports bras.  I got used to it and then I never minded.  I always lifted the band up, never pulled my breast out the top.

I switched back to regular (w/ underwire) bras at about six months.  They just fit SOOO much better.  As a 34H (down from J at my fullest), a non-underwire nursing bra just doesn't cut it.  Yes, it's a little uncomfortable during the actual nursing to be smooshed down by the wire, but it's worth it for the rest of the time when I'm not flopping around in an unsupportive bra.

I have some racer-back front closure bras that I just open to nurse. And a few very stretchy, soft "bralet" things that don't provide much support or coverage, but are comfortable, and can be pulled aside to nurse.

But I've had excellent luck with nursing bras. At target you can get nursing bras with or without underwire, sleep bras and push-up bras, black lace, blue poka dots, other cute and fun and sexy styles, for about $12-15.

yeah, never bothered with a nursing bra. my current fav is a calvin klein wireless t-shirt bra, pretty much exactly like the one you posted. i pull the cup down to nurse. it's a bit annoying once in a while (mostly during marathon snacking sessions when things can get a little rumpled and twisted), but never enough to bother buying a nursing bra that wouldn't come in my size anyway (36AA). i don't really need more support than a light stretchy tank top offers, but i do like the extra shaping and light padding of a bra once in a while.
