Hello peepz. I am new on this forum. I have been married for 5 years. been trying to conceive but my major challenge is my menstral cycle. I could go for 6 month without menstrating. Recently i went comprehensive test and was told that my Hormones are Inbalance. I am so devastated, i cry all day, so also my hubby. I stumble on this site after searing and reading so much on the curses and what can be done. I feel like i belong here. Please what can i do? Is there possibility of conceiving wtout menstrating? which herbal drugs can u recommend? I know with God all things are possible!

Hi! I'm sorry you're having such a hard go of this. I think the times that you don't menstruate, that means you're not ovulating, so you can't conceive in those times. This used to happen to me quite a bit, but I have a regular cycle now and got pregnant last fall (although I lost that one, I don't think it was a problem with me).
Â
Are you very underweight or extremely physically active? Marathon runners and other women who exercise a LOT often stop ovulating, as do women who are very underweight. My times that I didn't menstruate were when I was a little underweight and doing a very physically demanding job - heavy physical labor for 10-12 hours a day. I also was on the birth control pill, though, so that might have had something to do with it. I found calcium helped me have more regular cycles at that point.
Â
I don't know if these things might be an issue, I would expect a doctor would have mentioned it if they were, but I didn't want you to feel you were alone in this - I think the board is pretty quiet today. I hope others come on with some more suggestions soon!
@Hykue... Ohhh sorry .Another one on the way In Jesus Name.
I am so grateful someone responded.lol... I am not underweight. I work 2 hours a day.My work has to do with moving from one house to anoder for delivery.I dont think that is too much of a work or is it? Please what are the drugs or herbs you used in bringing your menstration back??? or what are the hormone balancing drugs you have personally used???
Thank you HYKUE you are the best and hope to see others commenting. Save my ass!!! Kisses and Hugggsss

I have had problems with my cycles since i was 11 when I started having them. I was on birth control from the time i was 15 until i was 19 when i got pregnant with my 1st daughter (i was on birth control pills at that point too!) It wasn't until i started TTC #2 that I found out that my body was having 43 to 45 day cycles and thus i wasn't ovulating like i was supposed to be. I ended up seeing a RE (reporductive endocrinologist (sp?) ) and he put me on an injection and a pill that finally brought on mature follicles and i was able to ovulate and concieve my second daughter who was born this past December. If you've been trying this long you probably should talk to a specialist if the b/w you had done was only by your ob or your GP. I hope that you get your little bean soon and if there are any further questions you have i'm sure there are plenty of us on these boards who can do our best to help you as much as possible. And if nothing else at least support you during your journy. I'm the thread keeper for the one thread in the fertility section and there are plenty of women in there who understand the frustrations of going so many years without being able to be pregnant or just stay pregnant.Â
Â
In reference to the herbal meds that you could take i'm not really sure what would bring on menstration...but i'm sure you could go to a local health food store and talk to them about it. There are also other women in the One thread here in TTC that know more about the herbal meds. G/L and God Bless!!!
@Brichole 1214... Awwwww you are such a darling! Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... Thank you for this piece. I feel so relieved. I've been glued to internet (google) all day.
Â
I just browse for reporductive endocrinologist in Berlin(Poor us, we never knew of that... Thanks to you and TTC) and luckily i got few and will put a call through to them tomorrow. Will update you 2morrow. Thank you.I am so blessed to have you all.
Â
Please more suggestion.

Here is some information i found on a few different type of herbal teas that can be made to bring on menstration. These are supposed to not effect you if you are pregnant...but will bring on menstration if you are not. I hope this helps a little bit.
Â
Â
Two to four cups of any of these teas can be taken per day. More can be taken if desired, as these teas are considered non-toxic to adults, unless otherwise noted.
Parsley - my personal favorite for stimulating a delayed period, I discovered it while traveling in Mexico, after not having a period for two months, when my period would have been due on the third month I used the dried herb and brewed a tea, I drank 3 maybe 4 cups that afternoon and the next morning I had begun to bleed.
Parsley is easily obtained at just about any local market or grocery store in the produce section, It can be used fresh or dried, I've used it successfully both ways. Just throw a handful of the fresh herb in a pot of freshly boiled water, cover and let steep for 20-30 minutes, strain and drink. Recently I tried a parsley tincture that I made, and it did not seem to have any effect.
Ginger Another easily obtained herb, again right from the grocery store, or many kitchens are already stocked with the powdered herb, I like fresh ginger, but you can use either. It is a stimulating herb, so it might not be a good choice right before bedtime. It may make you sweat, or you might experience a hot flash, this is normal for ginger. Chop the fresh root and boil in water for 20 minutes, remove from heat, allow to cool a bit and drink. If you experience nausea while using ginger tea you may be pregnant.
Caution: those with a history of gall stones should use ginger with caution.
Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) Grows in most of the northern hemisphere and is easily identified with the use of a good field guide, and is carried by most herb shops. One of my visitors says "the cold herb tea, 3-4 cups taken a day when menstruation is late. It works perfectly for me. I know I can count on it."
Sage a common garden herb, taken as an infusion.
Rosemary a common garden herb, used as an infusion.
Feverfew another herb commonly found in an herb garden, taken as an infusion. Not exceeding four cups per day.
@Brichole 1214. Thank you darlyn, Aint you wonderful!!! Yea, I found it as well on google and just bought Parsley,Ginger,Beet, and cucumber last night and still soaking them (infusion) to begin drinking tomorrow.

You're welcome! I hope that your appointment goes well!!! It took me a month to get an appointment with my RE back in 2009 but i was excited to finally get to see one!!! They did a lot of blood work and internal ultrasounds on me while they were treating me and it wasn't so bad once i got use to the whole spill lol. I had to see the doctor for 4 months straight before I finally got pregnant but it happened for me!!! G/L
