Can Pregnancy 'milk' cause Diarrhea for the older sibling?

I am almost 15 weeks pregnant, and DD is 3 years old and has still been asking to nurse.  We only nurse once or twice a day as I work, but it seems to me that my milk is completely gone- I don't get anything when I squeeze even after a nursing session. 

But recently DD has been getting diarrhea sporadically- 2 days in a row, then its gone for one, then again...and this has been going on for about 3 weeks now.  No fever, no other symptoms.  I had heard that pregnancy can change milk, and even though it seems like there is nothing there, maybe she is getting some and it is causing this reaction?  Has anyone ever heard of this before? 

I haven't decided on a path for the rest of my pregnancy and beyond as DD is still VERY insistent on nursing, even more now that milk is sparse- she asks for it much more frequently and seems to get much more emotional about it lately.

yep. if she's getting colostrum it has a laxative effect (to help newborns pass meconium). the same week my supply switched to completely colostrum my DD was teething and nursed a ton. she ended up with really watery stools. we could tell it wasn't because she was sick, because then there would have been diaper rash. it's been since November, and she's still having pasty stools most of the time.

Yep - my colostrum is totally in and DD has been having pure water for poops but it doesn't seem to be bothering her. I've been trying to push solids and nurse less to help but she's been really fighting me on it.

Ok, thanks for the reply- I was just going crazy trying to figure out if she was getting some allergic reaction to a food!
