my DD is 8mo, BF only, never bottlefed & doesn't really eat solids yet ( couple times a wk) ...
My 4 yro was sick last week , 2 day fever no other symptoms & fever was gone but does have nose congestion right now. Day after 4yro fever is gone baby starts fever (100-101) Thurs-Sun w/ no fever Sun evening wakes up Monday with chest/back/neck/face rash so I figure roseola. On Sunday my sister who we are around daily gets sick, fever, body aches & was diagnosed Tue w/ strep and my dad who we are also around daily been sick since Tues & he has the flu diagnosed today!
SO I guess it just makes me wonder if my kids were carrying the strep? Why with all those sicknesses around me do I have mastitis? The baby has been nursing more over the past week! Could I have something strep related?
My overall breast isnt hard just the nipple area making latch on a pain b/c she is impatient, I am achy had a fever 2 days, breast red & hot.
No one in my family have been to the doc.
Can mastitis & strep be related? like if baby had it?
