Sorry I am over anaylyzing this Sorry I keep asking about this, I have a 34 day cycle....used to be 28...anyway I get a + OPK on CD18 and CD 19. Is it bad to O this late??  I did have a baby 8 months ago, I quit nursing in august due to various reasons and got my AF back in October....I am still lactating a little so I dont know if that can affect it?? We would like to TTC again in a few months. I am scared to try vitex because my cycles are regular....they are just late.

A 34 day cycle is completely, 100% normal. So is ovulating day 18 or 19. It is shockingly rare for women to have a consistent 28 day cycle and always ovulate on day 14. While it does happen, it's not the norm. If you are ovulating regularly and have a good length LP (13-14 days is great) then your cycle shouldn't be an issue.

Hope that helps!

I usually O anywhere from CD19-22, and occasionally earlier. Got pregnant once Oing on day 19, once (this current pregnancy) on day 17. There are many, many, many stories of people getting pregnant Oing on days 30, 40, 50...you're absolutely fine!

I start to worry if O is later than day 21. The egg just has that much more time to be exposed to toxins and the uterine lining gets old.. But I think considering you've recently had a baby and are still lactating some, you're doing ok. I wouldn't mess with things.
