NW Indiana baby boutique - cloth diapers, slings ..

Has anyone visited this new natural baby boutique in Chesterton, Indiana yet? It's located inside a health food store, within a room in the back of the store.

This is some of the stuff they have:
prefolds, Thirsties, Fuzzibunz, Loveybum wool, Bummis, natural creams, sprays, Planetwise bags and detergents. A few brands of cloth training pants (waterproof), and a selection of cloth menstrual & breastfeeding pads. There are various baby carriers – Ergo, Moby wrap, Upmama & Sakura Bloom slings, amber teething necklaces, Kleen Kanteen bottles & sippy cups, HABA wood teethers and Sophie the giraffe. Bobux shoes are expected soon.

The web page is new yet, motheringbynaturecenter.com and the store has only been open a couple of months. They encourage you to try on baby carriers and will order stuff for you.

Mothering By Nature is moving to Valparaiso, Indiana Oct. 1, 2011. It will become more than a natural family boutique, offering resources, classes, groups, and possibly even including CHOICES Natural Birth & Parenting Network meetings.

Several educational events are happening at Mothering By Nature in Valparaiso, Indiana!

We are a natural baby boutique ~ cloth diapers, baby wearing items, natural toys, etc..

and resource center ~ classes and educational events pertaining to pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and parenting.

Postpartum support group meets 2 x a month, Jan 13, 27th at 12 noon

Oops, the first post talks about Chesterton, Indiana. That location is closed and we have moved into 900 Sq. feet of space in Valparaiso, Indiana housing a boutique with a seating area to nurse babies, weigh them, and change them!

On Wednesdays, we have a chiropractor who specializes in pregnancy, certified in the Webster Technique.

A doula and homebirth midwife are often present to answer questions.

We have NWI resources for holistic care regarding pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and more!
