We'll be joining the world of homeschooling next week!

We have been thinking about homeschooling for awhile, and have been doing a lot of supplementing dd1s education at home after school and on the weekends. We haven't been happy with our public school for awhile, and we finally made the decision to enroll our 6 year old in a homeschool charter school in our area. I'm thrilled, excited, nervous. DD is super excited. The charter school seems AMAZING. Great teachers that are ecstatic about the program. They have daily workshops and classes that we can choose to attend or not attend. Lots of hands-on, project-based learning. We were planning on starting next year for second grade, but DD getting her jacket stolen off of her body the other day was the last straw. We are ready for this!

I love the option of going or not going to the activities/lessons provided.My kids would love this.
