That looks like a stretchy wrap to me.  No ring is visible and I can see one loop of fabric going around his waist and another going over each shoulder.

Looks like some sort of wrap. It's hard to tell what kind though.

I'm pretty sure it's a blue celery. I think that grey with the contrast serging is one of their colourways
