Drew Allen has arrived. Already stealing the hearts of many!

Drew Allen made his appearance on Tuesday the 8th.  A week before his due date.

I was going for a VBAC.  Labored until fully dilated and got to see what it was like to push.  I pushed for almost 2 hours before he got stuck.  He was trying to come out face up with his head back.  The midwife and nurse tried everything to get him to turn but ultimately he like his older brother decided not to move.  He weighed 8lbs, 8oz and was 21 inches long.

Even though I ended up with another c-section it was still a great experience and in the end I had a beautiful baby boy!

Now we nurse and sleep and nurse some more.

Life is really really great.

congratulations mama! i'm sorry you didn't get your vbac, but it sounds like you got a lot of joy in going through the experience! i hope you heal with ease...and enjoy all that nursing and sleeping! :) sounds beautiful!
