hug2.gif For those with the B-H.  I've had nights of those, and now I have nothing.  Lost a bit more mucous today (how much mucous can one woman hold???) but apparently I will defy all logic about bloody show and continue on.

Hey there.  Just wanted to chime in and make you all who are left waiting not feel so alone. :)  I've lurked here through most of my entire pregnancy.  My due date was Feb. 18th.  But this is baby #5 for us and all my other kids went past at least 41 weeks.  Our two boys were actually very close to being born at 42 weeks.  I've had lots of BH the last few weeks which is unusual for me and it's driving me crazy.  It reminds me of an earthquake...once it starts, you sit real still waiting to see if it's going to stop or keep going and get worse!! :D  Last night I had 3 hours of painful contrax that were 4 mins apart.  I thought for sure we were headed for the hospital.  Then I fell asleep and woke later to....a big fat nothing!!!

So, grouphug.gif to you all who are still waiting....we will all be holding our little ones soon!! :)

Im out too!! YAY!  Caleb Joseph arrived 2/22 at 12:58 PM.  8lb 2 oz and 20.5".  Ended up being induced with cervadil.  Totally wasnt expecting to come home from a NST with a baby.  His HB was dropping during contractions so they were concerned about a cord issue.  I was still only 1 cm dialated so they started with cervadil and luckily it also kicked in contractions.  We're home and doing great!  He is an awesome little nurser and mommy is loaded with milk.  Tomorrow is my daughters bday.  She was born 2/27/07 at 12:57 pm 7 lb 2oz.  Its funny the time they were both born at and exactly 1 lb apart.

I'm still here.  42 weeks today.  Just lost my plug...been losing a lot of mucos up to this point but that was much more plug like.  I was 3cm on thursday and had my membranes stripped.  I've been contracting since last night but they are so random and far apart.  It's driving me nuts.  I feel like it can't be long now.  I've never had real contractions without my water breaking first so this is weird for me.  I know it's better for my water to stay intact but I can't help thinking if it would just pop things would really go.  Not sure I can emotionally handle waking up another morning without real labor or a baby.  Really don't want to make it to my monday appt. where we have to discuss induction.  Something I won't do but we will have to talk about.  Sigh.

Congrats to the new babies!

I think we are going to take induction on Monday - the stress is getting to both of us, and statistically the further we go past 42 weeks the higher our odds of c-section get.  I'd rather be induced than have a section.

Now, hopefully that knowledge will scare the baby out tonight or tomorrow!

good luck twinkle, hopefully just the threat of it will do it.

the threat of the castor oil worked for me!
