GMD prefold seconds? Anyone have any experience with these?

Ds's prefold diapers are tattered and I just spent a couple of hours sewing the edges to get them to last a little longer. I thought they'd make it through two babies, but I guess not. I have the DSQ Chines premium prefolds (blue edged) and they've been good diapers. So I'd like something similar, they are a soft diaper.  Although my DSQ's Chinese infant prefolds (green edged) were not that soft.

I found a dozen unbleached prefolds (natural color stitching) at Goodwill for a dollar!! They've been great as far as absorbency and they looked almost new. But once I started using them they're really not that soft, they're okay though. I saw GMD had some seconds that had natural edged and the variation of size is just how these diapers are. Some are an inch shorter than others. So I wondered if these might be GMD seconds. Does anyone have any experience with their seconds? I'd get them for the price and size but if they are rough I might keep looking for something softer.

Ds is 14 months and we won't be diapering any babes after him. But then he may not PL as soon as his older brother either....

If anyone has any suggestions for other prefolds let's hear them!!

No experience yet, but I have a dozen newborn GMD seconds ready to go for April. I have every confidence they'll perform just as well as firsts. They are unbleached also, with an orange edge, are softer than the bleached pfs we have. They quilted less than the bleached.
