Please HELP all these abreviations ????

I have been reading through posts and I can't seem to understand anything people are saying... I never was one to use or understand all these abreviations. WHY do we need to use them??? Can't people just type what they are says?? I have been asking about my period not returning but I can't understand anyones answers. Does anyone know where I can find a link on all these JUST so I can decode what people are trying to say to me.... This could take me hours when it could take someone a second to just type the word...

EWCM = egg white cervical mucus
BIP = basic infertile pattern
DS = dear son / darling son
EBF = exclusively breastfed
BLW = baby-led weaning

Pretty much all forums are like this. And you yourself used EC in an earlier post....took me AGES to figure out what that one was, back in the day when I was new to all this! ;)

Welcome to MDC! I know I found the abbreviations to be a little overwhelming at first also, but soon it's just part of your online vocabulary. I hope you stick around and get to know us better!
