Scared outta my mind!!!

Well I recently found a small patch on my right breast..and being a medical assistant I know what this could mean. Padget's Disease (a form of breast cancer) so now of course I am scared outta my mind.....

 

The patch showed up about 3 months ago...but I shrugged it off to eczema...but after the patch seems to not be geting any better even though I began treating it with eczema cream... 

 

So I now have an appointment the day after my 41 birthday...

 

DID I MENTION I AM SCARED??

I don't know anything I could say to help you, but didn't want to read without sending some support. I hope it is just an annoying skin irritation. How many days till you're appointment?

 I got to doc on the 15th of Feb... and am now counting the hrs..even though I know the chances of me finding out exactly what it is are slim until some test are run...(we in the medical field make the worst patient,because we have no patience,and we know too much of the bad thing it could be)

I'm in the medical field too and I totally understand that fear. We just think the worst, because that's what we see and it almost never is. I really expect it is nothing serious blowkiss.gif
