How many of you actually got this issue and read/are reading it? I finally got my copy yesterday and although I haven't read all of it yet, but I'm really pleasantly surprised how critical the authors are of sleep trainers and tauting the praises for AP. It's really good timing, too, because I'm getting hit on all sides by DP'S family to not nurse so often (everyone else was apparently on a schedule), cio, not co-sleep, yadda, yadda, yadda. DP is starting to open is eyes a bit more, too. It's nice to see my crunchy parenting going mainstream.

And totally OT: my dd got her report card yesterday and it was pretty good! Her teacher gave her both thumbs up for the Gymnasium (my dd is in the 4th grade). At the conference she said she'd never seen a child change so much so quickly. At the last meeting at the end of November, she only grudgingly agreed to an "eingeschränkte Gymnasialempfehlung". Now she's totally on board. Everybody's happy!
