Unexplained bruising...

Can being in the Moby funky cause a bruise on the inside edge of his foot? He didn't complain until he woke up and I moved him/his leg...it made me think that maybe his leg fell asleep? But can that cause a bruise? My pedi wants me to go in to do bloodwork but this kid has horrible veins. I don't want to put him through that again..last time he needed bloodwork it took almost an hour of them poking and digging and him screaming and crying and ugh...my main concern is a blood clot/stroke or cancer. Should I worry at all? It doesn't seem to be hurting him at all, I can touch all over it and he doesn't react..

I could see how being in a moby funny could bruise a baby.

Because we can't find out where it came from for sure and it popped up realllllly quick. Within minutes.. I don't want to put him through that trauma for no reason but I also don't want to not do it and then have him be diagnosed with leukemia and I could've saved him had I brought him in, etc etc. *sigh*

She says she's worried about anemia though. Can I take iron supplements since I nurse and just let him get it from me? As a precaution?
