So I got rid of all plastic food storage long ago. I now have glass. I was wondering if anyone knows about the safety of plastic bags. My Costco has recently added my favorite bread ( Dave's KIller Bread) at a significantly lower price than my Whole foods in a two pack. Since we try to eat wheat only occasionally and in moderationy at our house, we barely make it through a loaf (in the refrigerator) before it becomes a science project :). I am wondering if it is safe to put the extra loaf in the freezer for storage in the bag that it came in. Or I am open to other ideas. The safe food storage I have does not fit a loaf of bread. Thanks!
