Nursing swimsuits

We will be spending a lot of time at the beach this summer so I am looking for a nursing swim suit.  Are there any out there that don't LOOK so much like a nursing swim suit (you know, that frumpy nursing, layered look)?  The best I have found is the expressiva tankini but it seems like there should be more out there.  Anyone found anything good or will I be pulling up a standard tankini all summer long?

ok well I hate nursing wear, but ever since I had ds I've been self concsious about my stomach. So I wore a bathing suit like this one year: http://www.amiclubwear.com/swimsuit-twopiece-c2-mtnavystrpnavystripe.html  I could easily pull down one strap without uncovering my stomach, which was my biggest thing.

This is a two piece nursing tankini http://www.mothersboutique.com/tankini1.html the top is farily cute and is a "nursing" top. That's still too much fabric for me (I hate bunched up fabric and really don't wear nursing wear, so maybe that is typical of a nursing shirt, idk?) but it might work for you. I'd probably swap out that bottom for something a little cuter ....just buy any cheap pink regular bathing suit and wear the bottoms from it!

But honestly swimming is one of the few times I really don't care about modesty....everyone is already half naked!

I just got a really cute tankini from athleta.com and pulled the top to the side to nurse (It had a tie behind the neck so you could loosen it if necessary.)  I don't see that a nursing tank would really give you that much more modesty...  Look for good sales though http://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=62806&vid=1&pid=819766  this is like the one I got.

Good luck!

I looked for a nursing swimsuit for a mom-tot swim class and didn't find anything decent. They were all really expensive, plus ugly! I ended up winging it- I bought a few tops that were made from a swim-suit like fabric, they were for running, they were sleeveless and tight-fitting. I found some cute bottoms, and wore them with a nursing bra and running tank. I looked pretty good, and nursing in a shirt and nursing bra is familiar, so I had no problems.

I wore a regular tankini with good boob support and just pulled boob over the top - I covered with a towel or muslin for modesty sake - it is hard enough finding a good, cute, swimsuit in my size, so I didn't worry about trying to find one for nursing.
