DD is 6 months next week. She is ebf.  She is putting everything in her mouth. I've given her carrot sticks and let her nom on bananas but she hasn't really ingested anything yet but tonight she was ripping up tissue paper and having fun and I realized too late some was in her mouth. She coughed I opened her mouth and there was a little wad of paper in teh middle of her tounge then she wouldn't open her mouth to let me get it then it's gone.  I guess her tounge thrust is gone! but I'm worried about her digestive system that's only seen milk now she's got paper.  She's not acting strange.

Should I call the pediatrician?

Me either. You'll probably find it in her nappy in a day or so. When my daughter was about that age and stage with solids she ate a large amount of green paper napkin which all appeared in her nappy the next day. She had no adverse effects.
