where to put this?

i want to start a thread seeking help/tips/suggestions/recs for planning a road trip this summer with three kids and a dog.  looking for both broad and more specific help/tips/suggestions/recs like where to camp along our route and places to check out.  

 

we are going from new mexico to wisconsin if that helps.

 

where is the best place to post such a thread?

Hmmm, since it's a multi-topic thread, I'd suggest posting in Talk Amongst Ourselves for the widest possible audience all in one place. Really, Parenting would be fine, too. Wherever you do decide to place it, you'd also be welcome to post a link to your main thread in the different state's tribal areas, too. We tend to discourage cross-posting across the forums, but a link directing folks to your main thread would be cool. You may also consider placing a line of text in your signature mentioning your road trip (if that felt okay safety-wise) asking members to PM you for ideas about sightseeing ideas for your big summer road trip :)
