Not using index finger? At all?

I'm not sure if she qualifies as a toddler yet :P But she toddles around and is almost 14mos so...

Anywho.  My DD2 has had the pincer grasp for months now.  I've read that it typically involves using the thumb and index fingers.  Only thing is- she doesn't EVER use her index fingers.  I have honestly NEVER seen her use them.  She uses her middle fingers.  Is this a cause for concern or just a quirk of hers?

It sounds quirky to me.  Not alarming.

I think the issues you have been dealing with regaurding your older daughter have you on high alert.  Try to keep your stress levels down and take one issue at a time.  You are under a heaping amount of stress, so there is no need to bombard yourself with every little inkling.  It will only cause you MORE stress, and probably cause you to drop MORE weight. winky.gif
