Help me find a disposable that will contain poop

I've been cloth diapering my 4mo DS but when he goes into daycare in a month or so, we will need to send him with disposables.  We've used Pampers a few times while traveling and every time he poops it goes shooting up his back.  He's 100% breastfed, so it's that lovely runny poop.  We don't have this problem with cloth diapers, just the Pampers.  Rather than buying a whole bunch of different kinds to experiment, I was hoping somebody else has been through this and found a good diaper.  My preference would be to go with Nature Babycare or at least a chlorine-free diaper, but we need to fine something that contains the explosions.

Not a natural product as you have requested, but we love Target diapers.  They are much cheaper than Pampers and don't have that powder (or whatever it is) smell that other diapers have.  I expect, however, that they likely have chlorine in them.  Good luck with your search.

Huggies diapers have a little pocket in the back that help hold the poop in.  They make a "natural"
version, which is what we're using.  I'm not sure they're anymore natural than any other disposable, although there is supposedly some organic cotton in there somewhere.  They hold the wetness away from our baby's sensitive skin really well though, so we use them.

We cloth diaper and also use disposables. I second the Earth's Best brand suggestion.

I also have been using the Earth's Best along with cloth diapers. We haven't had any blowouts. If you order from Amazon, you can get a great price and if you sign up for Amazon Mom you get free two day shipping. If you set up to have them delivered on a schedule, you will save even more money, 30% off.

I found Pampers were the WORST for that. So bad that I refused to even use up the whole package & just donated about 3/4 of the package.

Huggies worked pretty good for us - they do have a natural line. Quite honestly, I tried a couple different store brands as well & didn't have the problem we had with pampers.

Thank!  I think we'll give Earth's Best a try to see if it works for us ... failing that we'll try Huggies next.  It's funny how Pampers worked for our older DS but so many explosions with DS2.

Another vote for the Huggies "natural" diapers. My DH is a SAHD and refused to try cloth diapering. He agreed to all my other "crunchy" demands so I let him have his disposable diapers. We tried all the more environmentally brands but they consistently irritated DD's skin. The Huggies are very soft and have thus far, been able to handle everything she's put into them.

Good luck!
