My midwife referred me to the following articles when we were thinking about whether to do oral or injection Vitamin K.

For a birth plan, if you and your midwife are on the same page on the big stuff, focus on the experience. What are you like? How do you labour? My midwife knows not to offer an epidural at 3 cm, but a one page reminder that I don't do breathing exercises, like to count and love cervical checks is really useful to both of us. For my first wrote the do this not that plan. This time I am writing the I have almost 10 lb babies and can do this, and this is how plan. Hopefully it gets me the nice warm blanket at the end that I have requested.
