baby and nutritional yeast

We love to cook with nutritional yeast and make awesome scrambled tofu that calls for 1/4 cup of it and we use it for gravies and instead of parm.  Now, my question is, can my almost 10 month old safely eat nutritional yeast in any kind of quantity (he's had it sprinkled on peas and liked the flavor)?  I'm nervous about vitamin toxicity.

I don't know the answer, but I'm curious what other people have to say. I give it to my 10 month old as well, but just in small quantities, like on toast.

Nooch is mostly high in Bs which are water soluble. I personally wouldn't worry about it at all!  =)

Thanks!  I'm going to make the scrambled tofu tonight and I know he's going to enjoy it!  It has all of his favorites...broccolli, tofu and GARLIC.  So, if you have any thoughts of how to get the garlic smell out of microfiber diaper inserts twins.gif...
