Survivor- Redemption Island! - Page 3

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I am so glad that Phillip didn't go last night. bag.gif I was afraid they'd lose the challenge and then the girls would gang up on him. On the other hand, I can't wait for that nurse (that was primping) to GO.

I'm still lovin Boston Rob. And I'm really impressed with Brett's athleticism. They're formidable together.

Brett was awesome!!!! I loved how he ripped his shirt off and still won the game! Yeah baby!
Brett?? I thought his name was Grant...anyhow, he WAS awesome. My only problem with that is that he then becomes a true threat to Boston Rob, who I am totally rooting for. So much that I don't know if I'd continue watching if he got voted off anytime soon. Now, if it's closer to the end, I'll have to finish the season to see who manages to beat Rob.

And even though I don't like the other team, I think that for THEM, they made a big mistake getting rid of Stephanie...she's a million times better player than Sarita. But again, that is only to Rob's benefit if they get rid of all the good players. smile.gif Can you tell I am ALL about what is good for Rob??redface.gif

I was really bummed that Stephanie was voted off. I really liked her a lot. I'm team Rob, too, though. There's no one else I really like enough to root for. If I was on the island, I'd want Phillip gone ASAP, because he'd be driving me insane. As a home viewer, though, he's so freaking entertaining. I like how in the begining it would say "Former Federal Agent" under his name, and now it says "Former Federal Agent? " with a the question mark. lol.gif

i really want to see some sort of match up or future season with both philip (the former federal agent?) vs. coach (the dragon slayer).  now that would be hilarious!!!

Yes I meant Grant and I think we are talking about the same guy.

wave.gif Me too! I'd tune in for that!

I agree with pp that Andrea is a huge threat.  If she goes to the final three, she's got a GREAT chance at winning.  I love Boston Rob though b/c he hasn't told ANYONE about the idol.  Which is awesome, cause you're supposed to keep that a secret.

I'm sad about stephanie, I liked her and thought she was pretty strong.  I don't think she can beat Matt though - we'll see next week.  I'm not sure I agree that Matt will be a threat for the $$ though - he hasn't been around enough to make friends OR enemies.  Which puts him in a tough spot - especially first vote after coming back, you know?

Just got caught up...
YES - Phillip versus Coach would be hilarious!!!
Also rooting for Rob and interested to see how grant will affect Rob's chances.
I also must admit that I was ready to HATE the redemption twist but actually really like it!

How do you think Amber feels tonight watching the show where Phillip says the girls are sleeping in Rob's underwear!?!? (wha...???)

I think she is probably laughing, that's what I would be doing. I am very impressed by Matt and Rob at this point.

At first I thought Phillip was hilarious to watch, now he makes me uncomfortable. I don't know why, but whenever someone is making a fool of themselves publicly I cringe and have trouble watching it. Back when we used to watch the auditions on American Idol I would spend half the time in another room because I can't deal with the bad auditions. Bolt.gif

Honestly, when Philip said he was planning to eliminate Rob at his first opportunity, I had to wonder if Rob needed to worry for his personal safety., . .

Oh, and I'd be laughing if I were Amber, too.

I forgot to mention last week: I was pleased to see Christian Faith portrayed in a positive way. It was nice to just see two believers.

This week: Philip drives me nuts. He makes me uncomfortable as well. I'm really hoping Rob takes it this time.

I wouldn't be laughing!  That's for sure.  He hooked up with Amber doing the same sort of thing.  It would have my mind reeling.

I hope Rob gets taken out next.  I can't stand the guy.  I'm finding myself... pro-Phillip...  jaw2.gif

Philip's entertaining, but I can't imagine him winning. I like Rob, but he's awfully cocky. Grant's alright, he's good at the challenges but other than that he doesn't really stand out much. All the girls on both tribes seem completely worthless. I used to like Ralph, but lately he's kind of fizzled out, or is that just editing? David completely drives me crazy, I hope he goes soon. They really haven't shown enough of that Marine or the older guy on that tribe (see, I can't even remember their names!) for me to have much of an opinion on them.

I really hope Matt comes back and takes it all!

Well... last night's episode was interesting. Is there any chance of people voting Phillip off or will they take him to the final because nobody likes him?

I also loved how Phillip went off about how the game brings bad things out in people and he's getting to see their true identity as the game progresses. Hilarious that he got all high and mighty when Steve wouldn't let him put his maggot rice in their can when Phillip had stolen rice from them the day before. ROTFLMAO.gif

It was mean but so funny when Julie his Phillips shorts too. I almost thought that would push him over the edge enough to get his own team to vote against him. It was a good try on her part. tiphat.gif

I thought Matt's response on how he was doing was great. Not many men would admit that they had hurt him. I hope a few of them felt some guilt over that. It's been an interesting season.

I think Phillip will have a ride to the end.  He annoys them, but he's the perfect person to take to the end because no one will vote for him.  That of course could be his strategy too.  You never know with this show.

I sometimes wonder if Phillip is actually a genius and he's playing crazy and it's all part of his strategy.  Imagine if, at the final tribal council, he suddenly becomes a somber intellectual and explains that he was acting crazy in order to convince someone to bring him along as #2, assuming they would have an easy win against him, but he is actually quite sane and it was all part of his brilliant plan.  Now THAT would be some good TV.  My other theory is that they plucked him right off of skid row.

What's really crazy is how everyone is so star struck with Rob.  Poor Amber.  When he finally gets home to her, his big head might not fit through the front door. :lol

The possibility that Phillip is just putting on a show could very well be the only reason why I am still watching this season. Otherwise, I'm not very attached or intrigued by anyone.
