Need charting expert please!

I've been charting for several years, so I'm quite comfortable with interpreting my temps and I know my cycles very well.  I'm pretty regular - I usually ovulate day 13-15 (although sometimes a bit later).  I don't really look for CF, but usually notice it on my toilet paper the day before I ovulate.  I'm dry the day I ovulate, and then my temp goes up the next day.  My LP is only 10 days long.  I don't usually use OPKs, although I have for the past two cycles.

Anyways, this cycle is somewhat important as I'm having my progesterone tested and it needs to be done 7dpo.  So of course, now I have a confusing cycle - argh!  Here's what has happened:

Sunday (day 11 of cycle) - very faint test line on OPK (negative); temp 97.3; no observed CF

Monday (day 12) - darker test line on OPK at 2pm (negative); even darker line on OPK at 9pm, but I still thought it was negative and was expecting a positive the next day; temp 97.8 (a bit high for pre-ovulation, but not unheard of - put my coverline at 97.9); no observed  CF

Tuesday (day 13) - fainter test line on OPK at 1pm (negative), so I guess my day 12 9pm test was as close to a positive as I was going to get; temp 97.3; CF observed on toilet paper in the AM - so I thought for sure I'd O today (day 14), since I don't usually see CF on the day I ovulate

Wednesday (day 14) - temp 98.1!  Which basically implies ovulation yesterday as long as it stays high; no observed CF

Now, the tricky thing is that I came down with a cold on Tuesday.  My LO was very warm/feverish Monday night and Tuesday, so I suspect I'm battling the same thing.  Which means that my high temp could have been from a mild fever from being sick, or could be because I ovulated.  Normally I wouldn't be so worried about it, but I want to make sure I time my progesterone test appropriately.  I also am doing acupunture, and I'd rather do it 7-8dpo, so I need to what day is best to schedule it on!

So anyways, what do you think?  Should I go with the almost positive OPK at 9pm on day 12 and observed CF in the morning of day 13, and assume ovulation on day 14?  Or do I go with my temp jump today, and assume ovulation on day 13?  Or do you think that it's not really a big deal and won't affect my progesterone test/acupuncture appt that much?  I'm kind of a stickler for accuracy, so if you think I should not think about it that much, that's fine to say ;) :D  Thanks!

An OPK can't pinpoint ovulation so i wouldn't go with that if it was only almost positive. I'd say it is a wait and see. See if you get 2 more confirmed high temps or if that one was indeed fluke. I am sure you will know before you hit 7dpo that you ovulated so try not to stress.

Another high temp this morning, 98.1. I'm quite sure I ovulated, I know my cycle very well - I just don't know which day I ovulated - day 13 or day 14.  I think I'll just get my progesterone tested on Tuesday, which will likely by 7dpo.  Even if it's only 6dpo, I was reading that it's probably okay.  So Tuesday is likely my best bet.
