Keeping Godwin's Law out of it... it's important to remember that "ethics" as it plays out in the lives of real people and real situations is not the same thing as the "ethics" studied in university classrooms. A discussion of practical ethics in homebirth scenarios is completely appropriate to the Birth & Beyond forum. A discussion of ethics in a more academic sense might be better held in a different forum.
