I have gleefully planted my early season crops: tomatoes, broccoli, peppers, etc., but I've noticed that the soil I've used to start my seeds already has some white spots which looks fuzzy in places. I've just been brushing it off, but I'm kind of freaking out---am I failing my garden already? Are my seeds rotting in the soil?
Â
What can I do to nip this in the bud--is there a spray I can mix up at home or something?
Â
Any ideas will be appreciated; I don't want to lose my precious starters!
Â
Oh, the soil is wet but not soaked, and they are uncovered.
Â
TIA!
